Arsenal player in demand

Arsenal utility player Ainsley Maitland-Niles is likely to be a man in demand at the end of the season.

He moved to West Bromwich Albion in January on lain and has impressed during his time at the Hawthorns playing in his preferred position of midfield.

They would like to keep him but, if their late bid for Premier League survival under Sam Allardyce fails. There are plenty of suitors interested in the Gunners academy graduate.

They include Crystal Palace, Southampton, Newcastle, and Leicester, whilst Wolves still want him, having failed with a bid for the 23-year-old last summer.

He ended up staying with the Gunners, but became frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities, and when they did come it was either in a full-back or wing-back role.

Maitland-Niles still has two years left on his current deal at the Emirates, but now the club may be willing to sell him to boost their transfer budget.
