Defender Eric Bailly is ready to leave Manchester United in the summer, after turning down the offer of a new contract.
The Ivory Coast international has become frustrated with his bit-part role under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whilst reports linking the club with moves for a new centre-back when the transfer window opens again have made him reluctant to commit to an extension at Old Trafford.
He still has one year left on his current deal but is ow eyeing the exit door.
He has not been available for the past three United matches after testing positive for Covid-19.
Bailly arrived from Villareal in 2016 in a £30 million deal, and was Jose Mourinho’s first signing as manager. However, despite plying more than 100 appearances for the club, he has fallen down the pecking order this season, despite putting the injury problems, which have hampered his progress in Manchester, behind him.
