Chelsea are contemplating selling defender Antonio Rüdiger after he was involvement ina training ground spat with a teammate.
The German clashed with goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga during the session called after their side’s surprise home defeat to West Brom at the weekend and the pair had to be separated by colleagues.
Rüdiger, who was very much the instigator, was sent home early by Thomas Tuchel, and now the German is considering selling his compatriot for the sake of improving team spirit.
The German international has been one of the best performers since Tuchel succeeded Frank Lampard, but he has been a substitute for two of the last three Premier League games, and this is not the first time he has caused disharmony in the squad.
He is out of contract at the end of next season and now may be an opportune time to move him on whilst they can still generate a return on their investment in him.
