Bayern Munich want to sign Tottenham’s Son Heung-min.
And to entice him to the Allianz Arena they are prepared to offer the South Korean more than £200,000 a week in wages.
Son has been in discussions with Spurs about a contract extension since October, with the 28-year-old having two years left on his current deal.
It is thought that Spurs have offered him close to £200,000 a week, but Bayern are ready to better that, and are prepared tow ai a year for the player who has 18 goals and 16 assists to his name so far this season.
Tottenham are confident still that Son will signa new deal, but like many of their bigger stars, like Harry Kane, there are concerns that the lack of competitiveness and failure to consistently challenge for silverware could tempt them to look elsewhere.
Son made his name in German football first with Hamburg and then with Hoffenheim, the club he joined Spurs from six years ago.
