Spurs’ attacker Erik Lamela is being linked with a return to Serie A this summer.
The Argentine is among a list of names being considered by Bologna as they look for a replacement for their str winger Ricardo Orsolini, who looks like he will be joining AC Milan.
Lamela has previous experience of Italian football, having spent two years at Roma before switching to North London.
Bologna director Walter Sabatini has confirmed that Lamela is one of their main targets.
The 29-year old has made 29 appearances in all competitions this season and scored four times, including his audacious “Rabona” in the North London derby against Arsenal recently.
However, he then showed the other side of his game when he was sent off for the first time in his career, picking up two yellow cards, as his side slipped toa two-one defeat.
He has played 25 full internationals for Argentina.
