French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi will return to Arsenal at the end of the season when his loan spell in the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin comes to an end.
However, the 21-year-old is unlikely to stay there long, with Mikel Arteta already having made it known to him that he has no future at the Emirates.
Guendouzi will be entering the last year of his current contract with the Gunners this summer, and they will be looking to sell him as a matter of priority.
The player recently insisted that he was ready to fight for his place back in North London, but Arteta is unwilling to cut him any more slack after a series of disciplinary issues last season, which saw him frozen out of the team.
And there has been a recurrence of those issues in Germany, where he has been accused of being moody, stubborn and resistance to advice.
