Napoli want to sign Liverpool full-back Konstantinos Tsimikas.
The Greek defender only moved to the Premier League side from Greek champions Olympiakos, but he has found first-team opportunities at Anfield severely limited, with Andy Robertson ahead of him in the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp.
He has made just 6 appearances, and just one in the Premier League this season and is desperate for more regular first-team action.
Napoli, who have been linked with a move for Tsimikas before his move to Merseyside, are in the market for a new left-back, and are prepared to tempt him to Southern Italy.
He was signed for an initial fee of £11.7 million and it is thought that Liverpool would want to recoup their money for a player who is under contract under 2025.
Tsimikas has six international caps for Greece, having made his debut for them at home to Hungary in the Nations League.
Andy is an exiled English football fan living in Cyprus. He loves all sports but football is his abiding passion, and he still has dreams every now and then about scoring the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final, even though his playing days are long gone. He follows most major leagues, across Europe at least, and has a favoured team in each. When he’s not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
