Arsenal tracking Brighton midfielder

Arsenal are eyeing a summer move for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, although he is also on the radar of Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Mali international was part of the side that reached the finals of the African Nations Cup in 2016, joining Ligue 1 side Lille shortly afterwards.

He played 55 games for the French team before joining Brighton for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2018.

Bissouma has two years left on his current contract, which is not thought to contain a relegation clause, even if the side drops into the Championship at the end of the season. That means Brighton could command a healthy fee for him.

The Gunners are looking for a long-term partner for Thomas Partey in the centre of midfield,

Bissouma has made 85 appearances in al competitions for The Seagulls, scoring three times, although that is not the strongest part of his game.
