PSG want to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking for an upgrade on Keylor Navas, and he has identified the Spaniard as his number one transfer target.
De Gea is currently the highest paid player in the Premier League, earning £375,000 a week, but that is something PSG could afford, given their financial resources, plus any transfer fee that United would demand for him.
And selling de Gea might solve a problem for United in that it would give Dean Henderson the chance to claim the number one jersey permanently at Old Trafford. Henderson has had to be content with the back-up role this season, but started the last two league games because de Gea returned to Spain for the birth of his daughter.
And as he kept a clean sheet in both those games, away at Crystal Palace and in the Manchester derby on Sunday evening. Henderson will believe that he has made a telling case why he should play more often.
