Mikel Arteta has told midfielder Matteo Guendouzi that he will never play for Arsenal again.
Instead, he will be sold at the first opportunity when the transfer window opens at the end of the season..
The French under-21 international is spending the season on loan with Hertha Berlin, after falling out with Arteta after the match away at Brighton last season.
That followed an earlier bust-up during a Dubai training camp.
Although he has been playing regularly in Germany, he has had issues with Hertha’s management who have accused him of immaturity, and behaving like a pubescent teenager.
Now it appears there is no way back for him at the Emirates and the Gunners have slashed their asking price for him. He was valued at £30 million last summer, but they are willing to listen to offers in the region of £25 million just to get him off their books.
