Highly rated striker Folarin Balogun seems set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, after they failed to convince him to sign a new deal.
The 19-year old is out of contract in the summer, and wants to leave over his lack of first-team opportunities.
He has no shortage of suitors – a number of Bundesliga clubs are monitoring his situation, whilst there is also interest from other Premier League sides.
Balogun joined the club as an 8-year old, and has been a star at under-23 level for the Gunners.
He has also made the most of his limited first team opportunities, scoring twice in cup competitions this season, despite just limited minutes off the bench.
However, he has failed to get the guarantees he is looking for regarding regular first-team football, and the Gunners are increasingly having to reconcile themselves to see another of their assets leave the club for free.
