RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has indicated that he would be interested in the Tottenham job if it became available in the summer.
It follows reports that Jose Mourinho’s future at the North London club could be under threat after a series of indifferent league performances. That is despite Spurs having reached the Carabao Cup Final and progressing through to the last 16 of the Europa League, where they will play Dinamo Zagreb over two legs.
Nagelsmann is still only 33, but he is one of the hottest young managers in Europe, and it is claimed that Tottenham have made him their number one target of they decide to replace Mourinho.
The German is under contract at Leipzig until 2023, and they are determined to hold on to their manager. However, he has made no secret of his wish to emulate the success of compatriot Jurgen Klopp by managing in the Premier League.
