Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazette is being linked with a summer move to Monaco
The Frenchman will enter the final year of his current contract at the end of June, and there have been no talks about extending his stay at the Emirates.
And with the Gunners determined not to repeat past mistakes and allow another player to run down his contract and leave the club for free they are willing to listen to offers for the striker.
Th French international joined Arsenal from Lyon for £52 million in 2017, but he has never been a very prolific striker, and recently Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been preferred in a central striking role.
He has scored ten times in all competitions, having featured in 29 games this season, but did not start the Europa League tie against Benfica on Thursday night, coming on as a late substitute.
Lacazette has also been linked with Atlético Madrid.
He scored from the penalty spot in Arsenal’s away win at Leicester on Sunday.
