Tottenham full-back Ryan Sessegnon is receptive to the idea of another loan move away from the North London side.
The England under-21 international joined Tottenham from Fulham in 2019 with a growing reputation and was tipped for the top. However, he found first-team opportunities at the North London Stadium hard to come by, under first Mauricio Pochettino and then Jose Mourinho.
Last season he made 12 appearances only, six in the Premier League.
With his prospects not much better this season either the 20-year old agreed a move to Germany and he joined Hoffenheim on loan.
He has enjoyed more game time with the German side, making 16 appearances in all competitions and demonstrating is versatility by playing in a variety of positions – left back wing back and a left-sided wide midfielder.
Faced with the prospect of returning to Spurs in a back=up role again, Sessegnon has a clear preference for continuing his development elsewhere to prove that, when he does come back to Tottenham, he is ready for the first tam.
