Manchester United are tracking 21-year-old Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konaté.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has apparently identified bringing in defensive reinforcements as a summer priority, and although his teammate Dayot Upamecano who has been attracting much of the attention, Konaté. Is also attracting lots of admirers.
It means that if United do decide to move for him they could face heavy competition, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich all keeping of his situation.
Born in Paris, Konaté. Began his professional career with Sochaux , making his debut as a 17-year old. He was signed whilst still a teenager by Leipzig, agreeing a five year contract with them in 2017. He has since gone on to make 75 appearances in all competitions for them, scoring three times.
Although his is of Malian descent, he plays his international football for France, and has represented them in every age group up to under-21 level.
