Borussia Dortmund are willing to drop the asking price for Jadon Sancho next summer.
In doing so,, they are hoping to rekindle Manchester United interest in the England international.
That could see Sancho’s price tag drop by as much as £20 million to £88 million.
The drama of United’s interest in Sancho dragged on for almost the whole of last summer, with Dortmund resolutely refusing to budge on their valuation of the player.
Since then, it has been suggested that the Premier League side have moved on and viewed Amad Diallo, who they signed from Atalanta, as an alternative to Sancho.
Meanwhile Sancho has not been enjoying such a successful time with Dortmund, with the transfer speculation surrounding him affecting his performance levels.
Dortmund have been forced to drop the price they want for him due to the financial losses that they currently face because of the pandemic. Selling him would help plug the gap.
