Serie A leaders AC Milan want to convert the loan move of Diego Dalot into a permanent move.
The Portuguese international joined Manchester United from Porto in 2018 in a £19.8 million switch from Porto, but failed to establish himself at the club, and struggled for first-team football,, especially sine Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as manager.
The 21-year old joined Milan on a season long loan last year, and has already impressed his new employers, making 16 appearances so far for the Rossaneri.
Now they want to acquire his services permanently, and are prepared to offer United £15 million for him.
That may not be enough for the Premier League club who are keen to at least get back what they paid for him three years ago. However, given that he would appear to have no future at Old Trafford as things currently stand, an improved offer might be enough for them to change their mind.
