Danny Rose is set to end his Tottenham nightmare by moving to Turkey to join Trabzonspor.
The left-back has not played for Spurs all season having been left out of both their Premier League and Europa League squads. Instead, he has been forced to train with the Spurs’ development squads.
In fact, since Jose Mourinho joined the club in November 2019, he has played just five times for them in all competitions. The 30-yer-old spent the second-half of last season on loan with Newcastle United, but they declined the opportunity to convert that into a permanent deal.
Rose has been with the club since he was a teenager and was a regular first-choice under Mauricio Pochettino. He has 29 England caps but his fall from grace has been rapid and steep.
Trabzonspor, who are currently sixth in the Turkish Super Lig have offered the left-back a three and a half year deal to join them.
