PSG have offered Julian Draxler to Arsenal in exchange for Matteo Guendouzi.
The 21-year old midfielder began his career at the PSG academy before moving to Lorient, and then Arsenal.
Now they want him back and are ready to offer German international Draxler as part of a swap deal.
Guendouzi is currently on a season long loan with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin after falling out with manager Mikel Arteta after a Premier League game with Brighton last June.
However, despite impressing in Germany, his future with Hertha is now in soe doubt after they sacked their manager Bruno Labbadia at the weekend. Guendouzi himself became embroiled in a row with a teammate at half-time during the club’s thrashing by Hoffenheim.
The Gunners have been linked with Draxler several times in the past. He is out of contract in Paris at the end of the season and does not figure in new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
