Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri will leave on loan for Spain before the end of the transfer window.
That is according to the player’s agent who says it is all part of a plan to give him regular experience of first-team football.
The 19-year old joined United from Uruguayan club Penarol last summer and has made eight appearances for their under-23 side. He has yet to make his debut for the senior side, but has trained with the first team.
He was recommended to the Premier League side by their former player Diego Forlan.
United have high hopes for Pellistri but accept that he is not ready yet for Premier League level. Now the challenge is to find the right Spanish club where he can get enough football to return battle-ready for next season.
The teenager contracted coronavirus earlier this month, but he is now fully recovered and back to full fitness.
