Arsenal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid playmaker Martin Ødegaard.
The Norwegian made headlines around the world when Real won the race to sign him as a 16-year-old from his home-town club, Strømsgodset, beating off competition from a host of clubs, including the Gunners themselves, as well as Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, he has struggled to establish himself at the Bernabeu and has had three different loan spells away from the club, impressing last season with Real Sociedad, scoring 7 times in 36 appearances for them.
Back in Madrid this season, he has made 11 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, but most of those have been off the bench, and Real are prepared to let him leave on loan once more in order to further his development.
The Gunners though my face stiff competitions. It is rumoured that up to 30 clubs may be interested in him, with Ødegaard himself set to favour a move to Sevilla.
