Manchester United are considering a move for Lens central defender Facundo Medina.
The 21-year-old has made a big impression in France since sealing a £2.7 move from his native Argentina last summer, gaining a reputation for his ability on the ball, composure, anticipation and reading of games.
He has already attracted the attention of a number of clubs, including several from the Premier League, but now United are considering making move for him in the current transfer window.
There have been suggestions that they will offer an initial £11 million for him and them immediately loan hm back to Lens for the rest of the season, so he can continue his first-team development. Despite his relative youth, Macundo is already a full Argentina international;, having made his debut as a substitute in a World Cup qualifier against Bolivia last October.
