Chelsea outcast Danny Drinkwater is on the verge of sealing a loan move to Turkish side Kasimpas for the rest of the season..
The former England midfielder has endured a miserable time since signing for Chelsea from Leicester City in 2017 in a £35 million deal, playing just 23 competititive fixtures for them in that period.
Last season had he two loan spells with Burnley and Aston Villa, but neither went well. He became involved in a well-documented nightclub incident whilst at Burnley, whilst his Villa spell was marred by a training ground clash with a teammate.
He is now keen to resurrect his career in Turkey, with Chelsea agreeing to pay a substantial part of his wages.
Kasimpas are based in Istanbul and are currenlty 13th in the Turkish Super Lig.
