The forgotten man of Chelsea, Lucas Piazon has finally left the club permanently.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was actually the longest serving player at Stamford Bridge, having signed for the club in 2011, although he was only eligible for a work permit six months later.
Although he was tipped for the top, the attacking midfielder only made three senior apperances for the club under Rafa Benitez, and has instead endured multiple loan spells to Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Portugal, as well as Reading and Fulham in the Championship.
Finally though his odyssey is at an end and he has signed for Portuguese club Braga, agreeing a deal which runs until 2025.
Chelsea’s first departure of the January window is a player that most fans had .on their books in the first place.
