Liverpool are ready to allow defender Sepp van der Berg to leave on loan during the current transfer window, despite their current centre-back injury crisis.
That has seen both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez suffer long-term injuries, whilst Joel Matip has had some minor setbacks of his own.
Van der Berg, who is 19, has largely played with the Liverpool under-23 side, although he has also been named on the bench for the senior side by Jurgen Klopp several times.
With defensive midfielder Fabinho dropping back to deputise in the role, though, Liverpool believe that they have enough cover to allow van der Berg to leave to gain valuable first-team playing experience elsewhere.
They have contacted a number of clubs in Belgium, and Switzerland, as well as Bundesliga 2, all of whom have expressed an interest in taking the defender on a temporary basis.
