Valencia want to sign Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.
The England midfielder is considering his future with Spurs having lost his place in the first-team under Jose Mourinho, although he now seems back in favour for the time being.
However, he wants to be playing regular first-team football to ensure that he is part of Gareth Southgate’s England plans for the European Championships this summer.
The Spanish club are now managed by former Watford head coach Javi Gracia, who is a big admirer of Winks from his time in England, and is looking to reinforce his squad.
The la Liga side have already had a loan offer for Winks turned down by Spurs, with Jose Mourinho indicating that he does not want the player to leave during the window.
However, it is understood that Valencia are ready to improve their offer for somebody they have identified as their number one transfer target.
