Arsenal want to sign Norwich City midfielder Emi Buendia in the January transfer window, although they have yet to make a formal offer for the 24-year-old.
The Premier League side are considering offering a cash-plus player deal for the playmaker, with suggestions that either Joe Willock or Reiss Nelson could be offered in part-exchange.
However, Norwich, who are leading the Championship, are not prepared to listen to offers for any of their players in the January window, knowing that promotion could be worth hundreds of millions of pounds to them, and this is not the time to weaken their squad.
