Daniel James is likely to be allowed to leave Manchester United on loan in January, with Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion amongst the clubs interested in signing the Welsh international.
A summer arrival from Swansea City in 2019, James has fallen out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, and was left out of seven match day squads before he was brought back for the fixture against Leeds United before Christmas, and even scored.
He was also included tin the squad for the Boxing Day draw away at Leicester City.
However, with first-team opportunities likely to be thin on the ground for him for the rest of the season, a loan move is seen in this long-term best interests.
Burnley and Brighton are also monitoring his situation, but it may be that West Brom, now managed by Sam Allardyce, are favourites to pip their rivals to acquire his services.
