A number of clubs are interested in signing out of favour Manchester defender Phil Jones in January.
They include West Bromwich Albion and Derby County and Burnley could also be interested in mounting a bod if James Tarkowski leaves the club.
The 28-year-old is completely out of favour at Old Trafford, having been left out of their Premier League squad by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He is an attractive proposition to clubs because United are prepared to subsidise a large proportion of his £120,000 a week wages, and with plenty of Premier League experience represents a risk-free option for anybody willing to take him.
Jones moved to United from Blackburn Rovers in 2011 and has made 224 appearances for them, winning he Premier League FA Cup and the Europa League during his time at the club. However, his long stay now looks as if it is on its last legs.
