Arsenal are set to complete their first signing of the January window, although he is very much one for the future.
The Gunners agreed a deal with Hertha Berlin to sign teenage defender Omar Rekik during the last transfer window but they ran out of time to complete the paperwork by the deadline.
However, he has ow fuelled speculation that the move will now be completed after he shared an image of him touching down in London on his social media account.
A deal to take Rekik to the Emirates for a fee of £900,000 was included as part of the negotiations that saw midfielder Matteo Guendouzi go on loan to the German club at the same time.
He is unlikely to feature in their first team plans any time soon, and could be immediately loaned out again, but he is highly rated as a prospect and he Gunners will be happy to get him under contract.
