Christian Eriksen is set to snub the chance to join Manchester United in January.
The Dane is set to leave Inter Milan after less than a year, having started just 4 Serie A games under Antonio Conte.
However, he is unwilling to return to the Premier League because that would be seen as an admission of failure, and that he would prefer a new challenge in a different league.
Eriksen spent nearly seven years at Tottenham and played more than 300 games for them before securing his move to Inter in a £17 million move. However, he has failed to adapt to life in Italy, and Inter are keen to get his £200,000 weekly wages off their books.
The 28-year-old now favours a move to PSG who have emerged as the favourites to sign the Denmark international.
He had also been linked with a move to Arsenal who are looking for a player capable of solving their creativity issue in midfield.
