Paul Pogba’s agent Minola Raiola has said that his client is unhappy at Manchester United and wants to leave in the next transfer window.
Pogba’s current contract runs until 2022, and there had been suggestions previously that he might be interested in extending his stay at Old Trafford.
However, he has struggled for game time this season, only starting five of their Premier League games. Last month, Didier Deschamps, his national team manager, opined that Pogba cannot be happy with his current situation at United, and now Raiola has confirmed it.
The 27-year-old has openly expressed his desire in the past to play for Real Madrid.
However, whether the Spanish champions or any other club could come close to matching United’s valuation of the player in the current market is open to question.
They might not et back the £89 million they paid Juventus for him in 2016, but will be looking to recoup a substantial part of that money.
