Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham all want to sign Brighton defender Ben White.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan with Leeds United who tried to sign him on a permanent deal. Instead he returned to the Amex Stadium in the summer, and has become a regular in the Brighton backline, starting all ten of their Premier League games so far.
He is highly rated and his progress has caught the eye of a number of other big clubs. United are still in the market for another centre-back to partner Harry Maguire, although they made a clear-out first, with Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, and Timothy Fosu-Mensah all available to them.
Chelsea signed two new centre-backs in the summer, but Thiago Silva’s deal is only for an initial one season and Antonio Rudiger and Fikayo Tomori have all been linked with moves away from the club in January.
Meanwhile Spurs are also looking for more defensive reinforcements, despite signing Joe Rodon from Swansea City.
