Both Chelsea and West Ham are interested in England under-18 left-back Matthew Bondswell, who is on the books of Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
Bondswell began his career with Nottingham Forest and spent eight years in their acdemy system before following in the tracks of Jadon Sancho and heading to Germany to continue his football development.
He is currently on loan with Dutch second-division outfit FC Dordrecht in order top gain more experience of regular first-team football.
Howeevr, now the two London clubs are considering moves to bring him home to England in the January window.
Although still young. Bondswell is regarded as having the potential to succeed at Premier League levek, and would provide added competition ion the lefty-back slot for both clubs.
They may face competition though from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, who are also reported to be tracking his progress.
