Tottenham are set to sign Leicester City winger Demarai Gray in the next summer.
The 24-year-old will be out of contract at the King Power Stadium then and has shown no signs of wanting a contract extension.
Signed from Birmingham City in 2016, he is one of the survivors from Leicester’s Premier winning team, but he has never been able to establish a role as a regular starter, instead making frequent appearances off the bench.
He started just three league games last season and this campaign has not featured in the Premier League at all, his only first-team involvement coming in the EFL Cup against Arsenal in September.
Gray has made 26 appearances for England at under 21-level and was included in the senior squad for a friendly against Switzerland two years ago, although he never got on the pitch.
Tottenham have been keeping tables on his situation for some time and believe they may be able to snap-up a bargain.
