Juventus are monitoring developments with Donny van de Beek.
The 23-year old joined Manchester United from Ajax in the summer for £35 million but has failed to nail down a starting position at Old Trafford and has had to content himself with appearances from the bench mainly.
Amidst reports that he was not a signing that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted, there is already speculation that the Dutch international might want to force a move away from Old Trafford, although this is much more likely to happen next summer than in January.
The Serie A champions were interested in signing him this summer, but their transfer activity was constrained by the financial challenges facing the club due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Solskjaer publicly, at least, has insisted that van Beek will get his chance at United, insisting that then season is long and there are many games to be played.
He did start the Champions League victory against Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday.
