Jack Wilshere would love to return to Arsenal – although he is realistic to admit that it is very unlikely to happen.
The former England midfielder is currently a free agent after his contract with West Ham was terminated by mutual consent. He has been training by himself whilst he tries to find a new club and has linked with a move to Rangers as well as the MLS.
However, if he had a choice he would prefer to return to Arsenal saying “I’m not stupid to know that there’s probably no chance of it happening but I’m an Arsenal man, I love the club and want to see the club do well.”
Wilshere joined Arsenal as a 9-year-old and went on to play for them 197 times, scoring 14 times and winning the FA Cup twice. However, his career at the Emirates was blighted by injury, one reason why his switch to the Hammers ultimately did not work out.

When he’s not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
