William Saliba wants to secure a loan move from Arsenal in January.
A £28 million pound signing from Saint-Étienne in the summer of 2019, the 19-year-old spent the last season back on loan at his parent club.
Many Gunners fans had high hopes for him when he finally arrived at the club, but Mikel Arteta has decided that he is not ready for Premier League football as yet, and left him out of both his Premier League and Europa League squads.
He was in line for another loan on transfer deadline day but the Gunners could not get the paperwork completed in time, and since then he has had to be content with the occasional appearance for their under-23 side.
Now he Is ready to forego his £90,000 a week pay packet just to move to a club where he is guaranteed to play first-team football on a regular basis.
