Arsenal are not interested in Christian Eriksen.
The former Tottenham midfielder has endured a difficult time of it since moving to Inter Milan in January and has struggled to adapt to the demands of Italian football. He is growing frustrated by his lack of playing time and is set to leave the Serie A club already in January.
Inter have offered him to a new of clubs, among them Arsenal, but the Gunners are not ready to pursue the matter any further. Instead, it will be left to the likes of PSG and Borussia Dortmund to compete for the services of the Danish playmaker.
Instead it is reported that Mikel Arteta Is targeting a new centre-back, despite his side’s lack of creativity, and apparently having a surfeit of central defenders as it is presently. Three of his current crop – David Luiz, Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi are out of contract in the summer, whilst William Saliba is not judged ready for first-team football.
