Tottenham are ready to battle Everton for the signature of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
The Polish international was linked with a switch to North London in the summer, but eventually decided to stay with the Serie A club. However, with his contract at Napoli due to expire next summer, he could be available at a cut-price fee of only £10 million in January.
Everton are the favourites, because manager Carlo Ancelotti knows the forward well from his time in charge of the club. He has already raided his former team to sign defensive midfielder Allan, and now he could return their once more as he looks to strengthen his attacking options.
Spurs though cannot be ruled out of the picture. Although they signed Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan, they are still looking for a reliable back-up to Harry Kane, and the 26-year-old Polish international may just fit the bill.
