Wolves striker Raul Jiménez has confirmed that Manchester United were interested in signing him during the last transfer window.
The Mexican has proved a bit hit in the Premier League since joining Wolves from Benfica two years ago, and his exploits have not gone unnoticed by other clubs.
Juventus were also tracking his progress, but in the end, no approaches were made and he remains at the West Midlands club.
United, having spent nearly all summer in fruitless pursuit of Jadon Sancho eventually signed Edison Cavani in a last-minute deal on transfer deadline day.
However,, despite insisting he is happy to stay at Wolves. Jimenez has refused t o rule out the possibility of a future move, although any deal would have to make sense to all the parties involved.
He has now signed a new deal at Wolves which means he is now under contract until 2024.
