Sergio Romero is training on his own as he continues to explore ways to leave Manchester United in January.
Now fourth choice at Old Trafford, the Argentine is staying fit in a bid to prove to any prospective employer he is ready to join them when the transfer window opens again.
He was all set for a move to Everton on deadline day, but that collapsed when United demanded a £10 million fee for him. And a proposed switch to the MLS and David Beckham’s Inter Miami foundered ono his wage demands.
He is currently on £100,000 a week and knows he is unlikely to earn that elsewhere.
However, he is out of contract with the Premier League side next summer which means that he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January. However, he is hoping now that he will be allowed to leave for free then and is prepared to forgo any pay-off to secure a move away.
