AC Milan are keen to make the loan move of Diogo Dalot permanent and want to open talks with Manchester United to discuss the possibility.
The 21-year old Portuguese right-back was allowed to join the Serie A side on loan at the start of the season to get more first-team football, but the agreement does not include any option to buy,a and he is due to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Dalot has settled in well in his new surroundings and has made 4 appearances for the Serie A side so, far, playing in all their Europa League games.
