Former Gunner Jack Wilshere is considering a move to the MLS.
The 28-year old England international had his contract with West Ham, the club he supported as a boy, terminated by mutual consent early this month, and he is available on a free transfer.
Wilshere’s career in East London was blighted by injury, and he made just 16 Premier League appearances in just over two years. However, he insists that he was fit for the last nine months of his spell there, but that David Moyes refused to pick him.
Regarded as a rising star when he first broke through at Arsenal, injuries have prevented Wilshere ever fulfilling is potential, and or adding to his tally of 34 England caps.
Now he is considering his options but, insists that at 28 years old, he still has a number of good years left in him.
Moving to the US may help him rebuild his career and reputation.
