Kolasinac offered to Roma

Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac has been offered to Roma.

The Bosnian international was linked with a summer move away from the Emirates, with a return to the Bundesliga on the cards at one stage, with both former club Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen among the teams interested in signing him.

However, in the end, his wages proved to be a sticking point any deal, as well as the player’s reluctance to leave London.

However, with Mikel Arteta looking to trim his playing squad in January, the 27-year old has been offered to Roma.

They are looking to bring in left-side reinforcements at the back, with Leonardo Spinazolla, who currently occupies the left-back role prone to injury. His only natural replacement is a 19-year old, and the Serie A side would prefer a more seasoned player in the role.

Arteta is hoping to move to a back four with the signing of Thomas Partey, with Kiernan Tierney the favourite to occupy the left-back role, whilst Bakayo Saka can drop back there when needed.
