A host of Championship club want to sign Harry Wilson on loan before Friday’s deadline.
The 23-year old has not featured for Liverpool in the Premier League this season and was left out of their squad for the Champions League.
He had been heavily linked with a move to Burnley over the summer, but, in the end, talks came to nothing.
However, with Liverpool now out of the Carabao Cup, Wilson has little prospect of first-team football at Anfield, and it is thought best for his development if he is sent out on loan once again – he has previously had spells with Crew Alexandra, Hull City, Derby County and Bournemouth.
Derby are one of the teams interested in him again, along with East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest, now managed by Chris Houghton.
However, a return to Wales for the Wrexham born player looks the most likely destination for him, with both Swansea City and Cardiff City vying for his signature.
