Manchester United Sergio Romero is hoping to move to the MLS before their transfer window closes on October 29th.
The 33-year old now finds himself number three at Old Trafford behind David de Gea and Dean Henderson, and with minimal chances of first-team opportunities in the coming season.
He was lined-up up for a loan move to Everton but that collapsed at the last minute when United demanded a loan fee from the Merseyside club. United’s stance so angered Romero’s wife that she took to social media to blast them noting that the last trophy they won he was in goal, and angrily, posting “it is time to let him go. Respect for once!”
Everton subsequently signed Robin Olsen from Roma instead to provide competition to Jordan Pickford,
Romero is currently back in his native Argentina whilst he waits for his future to be resolved. And, with his Premier League dreams fast fading, he is hoping to kick-start his career once more in America.
