Bayern Munich have rekindled their long-standing interest in Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The German champions were heavily linked with a move for the England international last summer and made several bids for him, all of which were turned down by Chelsea. In the end, he was persuaded to stay with the West London club and signed a lucrative long-term deal that runs until 2024.
However, he has since fallen out of favour under Frank Lampard, with reports of disciplinary problems off the pitch. And, with the arrival of all the new signings at Stamford Bridge, he may struggle for regular game time this season.
Lampard has already said that several players could leave on loan before the transfer window closes, and now it looks like Hudson-Odoi may be one, with any deal with the Champions League winners likely to include an option to buy.
He ahs made four appearances for Chelsea so far in all competitions this season.
