Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on a deal to sign Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac, after tabling a €11 (£10) million did for him.
The Bosnian international is just one of a clutch of players linked with an exit from the Emirates before the transfer window closes on Monday, and had previously been linked with a move back to his former club Schalke, although they are now in disarray having sacked their manager David Warner, the former Huddersfield Town boss.
That has given Leverkusen the chance to steal a march on them and they are one of the few Bundesliga clubs with money to spend at the moment, having sold Kai Havertz to Chelsea, and Kevin Volland to Monaco.
Kolasinac joined Arsenal from Schalke on a free transfer in 2017, and has made 107 appearances fo the Gunners, scoring 5 goals and providing 15 assists. He has indicated that he is willing to take apay cut to move back to the Bundesliga.
