Matteo Guendouzi has submitted a formal transfer request to Arsenal.
The 21-year old has not featured for the first-team since the defeat away to Brighton in June, which saw him angrily confront striker Neal Maupay at full-time, with the home players subsequently claiming that he tainted them with how much he earned,
There have been reports of disciplinary issues, and suggestions that he has been made to train by himself, and, although manager Mikel Arteta insisted publicly at the start of this season that everybody was starting with a clean slate, he has not been included in any of their squads so far during this current campaign.
He has been offered to both Lyon and Atlético Madrid as part of a player plus cash deal for both Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey, but so far there have been no takers for the midfielder whose recently captained the French under-21 side.
